Coral Coast, Fiji – Part 2

Typical Sunset in Fiji

Typical Sunset in Fiji

I very rarely understate things, but today I’m Making an exception – Fijians LOVE Rugby Union!

Fijians have this thing I refer to as ‘Coconut Time’ – I first encounted this phenomena 20 years ago , the first time I was there. Nobody wears a watch! They lope around with absolute ease and economy of movement not caring what time it is. It seemed I was the only person – apart from the Divemaster who wore some sort of timepiece.

But throw a football at them and they explode. If you add a minimum of four Fijians and a football ,you create a critical mass that coconut time goes into warp speed. Art In Motion
