On Your Mark…….. At Narrabeen Rock Pool

Growing up on the Northern Beaches of Sydney, The Saturday morning Summer Ritual was swimming at the local Rock pool.

Accompanied by my best mate, we would got to Queenscliffe pool and enter various races.Between events we would swim in the surf. Beats a chlorinated indoor venue any day.

I now live further north of Queenscliffe and Narrabeen is my “Local” Rock Pool.

These pools are right along the Coastal beaches of Sydney, and are maintained by the local Councils. The most famous of these would probably be Bondi Beach, south of Sydney Harbour

Come over and try it out – You might want to wait until Summer !

If you can’t get over right away, hang one of these on the wall to remind you. Memos available Here
