Anna Jarvis – who founded Mothers Day chose the carnation to represent the occasion.

Carnation colours have various meanings – Similar to Roses, and they aren’t all complimentary.

White – Pure Love & Good luck

Light Red – Admiration

Pink – Mother’s Love

Striped – Regret or refusal “Ouch!”

Yellow – Disappointment or Rejection – If you get one of these back ,you should go to Plan B

I shot Black & White, just so I wouldn’t offend anybody.
